Touchscreen Phone Piano Apps

There are lots of FREE piano apps for your phone. Here are two of the best:

Virtual Drumming is a site that contains virtual drum kits you can play with your keyboard and more learning content for drummers

Musicca is a virtual music learning site. Click on tools to find a virtual piano, virtual guitar, virtual bass metronome and much more

DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU REALLY CANNOT USE A PHONE OR TABLET PIANO APP!!!

A Virtual Piano that can be played with your keyboard. If you also have a MIDI compatible keyboard you can plug this into your computer and control the virtual piano with your MIDI keyboard

Now you need to pick a part. Hint: most of you will play the 'keyboards' part and you DON'T need a keyboard at home to play this

(just look above at the guidance for phone piano apps you can use or online piano apps)

So you have now learned your part and can play it perfectly

You will need to submit your part to your teacher and you MUST use a backing track. You can either:

  • Record yourself playing with the video tutorial for your part above OR

  • Use the audio backing track below and record yourself with that backing track
